Long story short a pee poor fuel system that requires about 10k spent on it every 3 - 4000hours. Thankfully cummins didnt stick with it long. I believe they can be replaced with a Bosch pump but dont know the details.
Not a perfect system, but no where near 10 grand to fix them these days, You can do 2 to 3 caps pumps for that kind of money now. So no reason to shy from a caps Cummins if the machine is a good one. |
