I have a shop that I use for basic equipment maintenance.  I can replace wear parts, rebuild my planter, etc.  I rarely touch an engine. I've never worked on a clutch or transmission.

Many think farming is about tractors and repairing them.  If we apply that thought to everything, then you also don't need a banker, lawyer, CPA, marketing advisor, crop scout, etc.
