Farmall M on the manure spreader when we had cows for 40 years. Sat outside in blizzards etc. and always popped right off. My wife has a 420 parade tractor and it's a pain it the butt to start in the summer. I know a 560 gas would only plow with a 3 bottom for 6 hrs. vs. our 460-D would run for at least 12 on a tank.
Just how bad were gas tractors?
