Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | If youre putting it in a lathe, put it in to weld it and use your tailstock with a center to hold it and then weld.
Im no expert, but if you just need one side built up, you have to weld all the way around it so it has even heat.
Dont quote me, but I think if you can MIG it in one continuous weld, like while spinning it in the lathe, that method would be the best to prevent alot of the warping. |
