Subject: RE: Government to force 3000 farms to close

Palestine, IL 62451

At times in this profession, I shake my head. For example, in Illinois, where I live and farm a mutual NLRS came to pass in, I believe 2015. It had 10 and 20 year goals. N and P are the culprits and while ag is not the only contributor they are a contributor.  I  have faith that the majority of the voters want clean water no matter who the culprit is. The "well that is the way we have always done it" folks are going to scream gov't overreach if/when something is regulated and the poor ole me farmer is going to cry foul. Many things are uncontrollable in this profession, and I consider it a profession- one that is paid for their job and is a professional, but many things are controllable. I am sure there are many that disagree and that is great to have discussions. My way is obviously not the only way, just the way I feel like balances all scales that I have some control of.
