SE Minnesota | Have my 893 all tore apart, needing pretty much a complete rebuild, right side deck plate, cover plate for adjusting (left) side, chains, sprockets, chain guides, and knifes for snapping rolls. I am wondering what my best bang for my buck is, I’ve looked at VH manufacturing, Shoup, and obviously John Deere, wondering what my best option is. Plan is to keep this head for a long time, has row sense and header height, I no till so don’t want a chopping head so see no reason to upgrade. | |
