Virginia | We had this debate before Thanksgiving. I read on fox news the pilgrims had venison, ducks, geese no turkeys. We had turkey ( i love it ) cooked in oven bag, then I cooked deer steaks, on grill. Ive been adding venison to Thanksgiving for years. Its kinda a new tradition now, plus its historically accurate lol
The rest of you I somewhat agree, chicken isn't fit to eat if not fried, nor is fish in my opinion. I could eat turkey pretty regularly though.
For the record I've raised nearly 3,000,000 over a 20 year period so I may be slightly biased. | |
