. I agree. Grew up with raising 200 turkeys a year. Ate turkey 50% of the time. We raised beef as well but couldn’t eat much because that was were the money was made. Still hate the smell of them birds. Also hate cranberry as it’s related. Thanksgiving here is brisket and ribeye.


I'm trying to avoid that for my kids. We eat 3 lambs/year even when the prices were nuts. We raise it so we should be able to enjoy some of the good stuff. We'll also eat some lower quality meats like beef and poultry too though.

I know a guy that buys a whole lamb every year for his "turkey."
