Subject: Was curious on the tax revenue.

Central Kansas

Nearest I could find was road tax on gasoline in Ohio is $0.385/gallon.  So your $200 fee equals out to buying around 519 gallons of gas.  If the car got 25 mpg on gas that would work out to just shy of 13,000 miles a year.

Here in Kansas it is $100/year fee.  Our road tax on gas is $0.24/gallon.  So it equals buying around 416 gallons of gas.  Same comparable 25 mpg on gas equals 10,400 miles a year.

I don't own a EV but this thread got me curious on road use.  Guess I could look up the average number of miles driving per person annually.  I am just an observer in this case and wanted some numbers to look at.
