Have you ever incurred a margin call while selling puts? I’m thinking paying margin on a sold out and having the crop unpriced would really be an inverse thrill. Glad it worked for you and appreciate you sharing, but you make it sound easy.


Costs 3 cents for the puts, Grain Company that have HTAs with cover the margins. Not much risk with what am doing. Biggest risk would be Puts expire in the money and cancel out HTAs . If that happens will add the profit from the HTA cancellation to final selling price.


What grain company allows HTA's to be rolled three times per year?

Numerous , every one that dealt with will as long it is in same marketing year.
