Central Iowa | Bought farm with 2 brothers on their terms. One retired and sold his third to remaining 2 brothers. One year later my brother said he was upside down on rental properties in CA. Would have to sell his half at auction. I said where is your half? He said which ever part you don't want. I said remember it's an undivided half so not going to auction as he wanted. I said see you in court for eternity but good luck. His attorney told him wasn't going to happen that way. So I bought him out at price from previous sale. So lesson noted in that deal. | |
