Down here on the shore.... fall corn harvest basis started at even or a little worse and got lower the longer harvest went on.
Some are -$-.30 Dec now, that is probably .30 - .35 below normal. There was a decent crop on the shore and a high board price so that is likely the reason for the negative basis.

Basis or JFM delivery out of bins was strong the in the spring into summer as it was possible to get a +$.75. It has weakend some now but still not too bad.

All in all I would say harvest basis has been a little below normal but there has been some good basis opportunities out of the bin, so not real unusual here.
