Southeast Colorado | Figuring out how to lead/guide our youth (so to speak) is a tricky balance. They often times don't seek your advice when you feel like giving it. Best to just lead by example instead of words. I know several older parents, who have messed up kids. I've always said that was because kids grow up more normal when their parents are winging it, making mistakes, and just generally learning on the fly themselves. That timeline puts their offspring in the majority group.
So all in all...............I guess we'll never know all of the answers until the day before we die I reckon.
Since you donated to anonymous internet me during our tragedy years ago, I do know that you're a good guy...............and I suspect that you have always been. I also suspect that your thoughts are not new to you..............but I appreciate you taking the time to write them out. Great food for thought.
