Talking about machinery prices not coming down I remember in the 80 s Case I H had 40 some new combines setting in a lot for a yr and finally had a fire sale quite a reduction in price.


In 1988 when bought my first IH combine, local dealer had new 1986 1660. Could have bought it with new 1020 20ft head and 1063 corn head for $86,000

Instead bought 1980 1460 with 1500 hours, 20 foot 820 head and 863 corn head for $30,000..
