Subject: RE: Apple trees in fence lines

Floyd County, Iowa
I wish the mulberry trees were rare here. They're a weed. I used to pull them, now just cut them off short and use either Tordon RTU or straight glyphosate on the stumps. Neighbor and I pulled a bunch of trees out of a fenceline years ago, and ended up wrecking a lot of fence. That's when I started cutting them when they're really small. If they're out in the open, it's more fun to pull them out.
