There hasn't been much talk of it yet but undoubtedly there will be tax added to your vehicle registration on an EV to make up for lost motor fuel tax revenue. How they will figure it I do not know. I suppose you will have to report mileage. Our roads are in bad enough shape as it is we can't afford to lose the revenue and have them decline further.
The way our leaders think they will probably just add some $$ to every electric bill to make sure it happens "fairly".
