They could buy the entire industry today with less than the quarterly profits from Exxon. (this is just so you understand the relative size of Big Oil to the Ethanol industry)
They understand that the whole industry only exists because of politics and if they were to own it then the Climate extremists would be after them and do you think Grassley would protect them like he protects the Ethanol industry?
Take Iowa out of the 1st place in the Presidential primary season and guess what happens the candidates bending over backwards praising Ethanol.
There is no reason for them to own it yet or maybe ever. They like it just the way it is. | |
