Middlesex County, Ontario | There’s lots of tablets out there with a Mini DisplayPort, and a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI cable isn’t rare or expensive.
Manufacturers have to pay licensing fees for HDMI, and HDMI’s large size is difficult to fit into tablets.
I use a ChromeCast, it’s a ~$50 device with an HDMI plug that plugs into your tv. Once it’s connected and setup you can “cast” things onto the tv from anything on your wifi network, like a tablet or a phone.
