Croswell, Michigan | While I understand the ‘proper’ way is down at night or illuminated, mine flies 24/7 unlit. My argument is that I like to see it fly and if I were to put it up and take it down each day, there would be more days than not where my flag pole would be empty. I always wanted a flag pole slightly nicer than the one I have now and if I ever get to that point maybe I’ll install a light also.
