Madison Co. Virginia
I would start out with prototyping it first, and see if it's as good as you think it is. Maybe get a few trusted friends to try the prototypes as well.

I've got an idea for an electrician's pliers that would considerably simplify one of the steps for roughing-in a house. It's nothing more than an idea, but I'm reasonably certain it would work. I need to learn how to use some sort of CAD program, so I can print off a plastic version on a 3d printer. After that, I can worry about machining one for testing purposes.
