Cleveland, MS. Own small farm near Booneville, MS | Po Monkey’s is closed and has been for quite some time. Monkey died a few years ago. The building is still there but just barely. Cleveland, MS has the Grammy Museum and an interesting little train museum. Larry’s Fish House in Itta Bena is the place to go for good farm raised catfish. I highly recommend Vicksburg Military Park and the antebellum mansions in Natchez. But I’m not sure what all is available that time of year. It does get chilly from the middle of the state north. It was 32 degrees when I took the dog out at six this morning. |
