I don't think there is any excess water in the system right now. I know if my area of MN the local rivers are extremely low, tiles aren't running, and drainage ditches are generally dry. There are many local lakes down 1-2 feet. We managed to get an excellent crop here but that was due in part to a lot of rain in may, timely August rains, and heavy soil.
