Texas | I had to really dig to find out where these tracts are. They are listed under the other owners name and parcel number. So someone will have to do their homework to figure it out. Land isn’t on a range and township here. Dad just noticed the legal description of one of them being in the same school land block as his. Guy on the sale docket isn’t even listed on appraisal district owner list, looks like his wife owned it and he had it leveraged.
My grandmother would know the owner of the other 50%. It is the brother in law of the half in default. They live far off now. I would think being family they would have bought it out of hock if they were interested. But maybe they don’t talk. | |
