Cowsncorn has the right answer. You need to be certain that you know WHO is the owner of the other 50%. And who they're going to sell it to, or leave it to. These undivided, unpartitioned sales usually sell at well below market prices due to that circumstance. I doubt you'd get to farm it, unless both you and the other owner agree to that. IF you think you might like to own the other half some day, just remember that the other owner will have an advantage on you, as he may hold up the prospect of selling to someone you don't like The other owner is the key. showboat
