Illinois Heartland | The glasses don’t work for all types of color blindness. I got 3 out of the 25 and the glasses don’t work for me.
When I was little, my mom used to sew little markings on the tags of my clothes so I knew what went together. I have fits with wiring for sure but things like color weather radar maps and Yield maps with yellow, green, red, orange, brown especially are troublesome.
People ask me if I just see grey. I tell them no, I know there are colors there, but I simply can’t tell you what they are. If it’s just a single bright color by itself, I can sometimes see or guess it.
Sometimes it’s a blessing though and keeps me out of trouble. My wife knows better than to ask me, honey, does this color look…fill in the blank for whatever! Joking aside, she gets a chuckle out of some of the concoctions of color schemes I pick sometimes. Like my bike that I custom painted for example….
