I have a couple of these Samsung 1 TB SSD's ($95) no complaints yet. Fast backup, inexpensive. The 2 TB drives are on sale right now as well for $170.

I also use these SanDisk SSDs ($99). Portable, Rugged, Very small, still fast. I use these to back up documents, data to Store in a fireproof safe.
