People are living longer, so more chance of osteoporosis to happen.

I've seen many charts like that showing how much longer folks live today than in the past, but I wonder if it might not be a little deceiving.

I've noticed when walking through older cemeteries that many folks lived well into their 80s......... but there were a lot more infant deaths.

If the ages are average ages, then it might be deceiving.

To the original post ................. maybe my parent's friends were just clumsy, but I remember a lot of falls and broken hips.
