I had my first one after age 50 and have polyps, so I am on the 5 year screen.  Last time, I had quite a few polyps
removed, these are the ones that can become cancerous.  So, don't be afraid of it, get it done.  As mentioned above,
it is quite common.  Not including skin cancer, it is the 3rd most common cancer in the US.
