Subject: RE: Colonoscopy

southern il.

I have had several over the years and they always find polyps. Tried to convince my wife to have one when she was 50 but wouldnt hear of it then at age 60 she had colon cancer and lost 18 inch of her colon and 4 inches of rectum. I have a friend same age as me would not have one either, he also had colon cancer and lost 16 inches of his colon. I have a son who is a doctor and he recommends at age 50 but said they are considering recommending at age 40 because they are seeing so much of it. So i guess its a personal decision but it sure would been better if wife and friend had choosen different.
