I guessing you have a big Joe and little Joe style regulators at the wellhead. They like to freeze up if condensates are present. Heater is quick expensive fix. Plumbing so moisture can't pool in the bowls can help. I set most little Joe's around 10-15 lbs. Doubt the drop out pancake is the culprit. I'd monitor pressure before the pancake. You may also be at the mercy of the well owner when it comes to fixes.

The spring warmer temps are odd. That could be losing pressure from the well. I've seen pump jack wells with low line pressure have pressure issues
