Subject: RE: Welder/generator to run drone charger?

Virginia, Northern Neck
Please read my initial and follow-up response to the original question - engine welders are designed to run continuously, and using it as a generator will not harm it in any way.

"How many 1000 watt Honda generators would you need to run in parallel to power the t30 charger?" was a snarky response to the suggested use of a 1000 watt generator.

The answer is 6 each 1000 watt generators - 2 banks of 3 each 1000 watt generators wired in parallel to power the t30 charger.

We don't know whether the original poster has a diesel or gas Trailblazer Welder.

Either way, that welder is the right size to run the t30 charger, with plenty of reserve power if he lives at a high altitude or in a hot climate.
