Would suggest you give the bank another call and report the transaction as fraud and have a hold placed on your account, and cancel your credit card at the same time.
Just been through something similar, and the banks have been great at helping as much as they can.
Would also suggest you change your PayPal password and set up two factor authentication. If you've used your PayPal details, chances are, if it is a scam, that they now have these details on file and can then use any cards you have linked to your PayPal.
Second to that, install a good, quality, security software on your computer. Australia is having a huge scam crisis at the moment, we use Trend Micro and it will block any websites that *may* be compromised. It can be annoying, but better safe than sorry.
