Pittsburg, Kansas | Mine tonight.
Not as fancy of steak as yours, and definitely not as fancy of place to eat it. Actually tonight was a thunder storm with lightning, light rain and wind...........in an open air kitchen and open air seating. Was a little mist blowing in so we just stood at the kitchen bar and ate there. We are the only guests currently at the Black Durgon Inn so we have the run of the place. Cooked on a propane BBQ grill.
The first and second picture is my steak. My wife shot for medium. I tell her medium because she likes rare and sometimes gets mine that way too. My preference is anything between medium and medium rare. This is as done as I want it and actually anything between that and the third picture, which is her steak, is fine with me. If it gets more rare than hers I will eat it and enjoy it, but not quite as much as if it is a little more done.
