My daughter has acid reflux on occasion but had it on a regular basis during her teens (she's 23 now). I cut some 2X4s and used screws to make 3.5" thick blocks, then placed the blocks under the headboard of her bed so she could sleep on a slight incline, head higher than feet. Over the course of a few weeks it helped enough to keep her from having to take meds for it. Worth a try.
Only went with a 2" x 4" (1 1/2") made a difference for wifey. Tried higher, but I felt like I was sliding off the end of the bed and lower worked. |
