Hi Chuck, - yes, cold winter. Day time max still not above 20 deg C. - but Spring is coming! Frosts, but hardly ever snow - maybe once in 20 years, then it never lasts, falls then melts.
We are 36 deg South, so climate is described as Mediterranean. More winter rain than summer, 16 inch long term average rainfall per year.
