| My wife catered for 34 yrs, retired in 2011. About 5 years after she started catering she bought s a set of Cutco knives. We still have & use those same knives plus have purchased multiples of the most used. . They have a lifetime guarantee & company will sharpen them at no charge. Had only a few that needed sharpened & had to have a couple replace. No questions asked by the company & they always sent a free knife for the inconvenience. She's bought sets for our daughter & dil for Christmas
Definetly not cheap, the set she gave ~$600 for back then is now over $1,600 from the company & $1,900 + from amazon, but worth the money IMO.
