I’m looking at a cute little house with a pool!!! So I put in an offer and they accepted all was going well until the bank wanted a bug inspection. They found where termites had been. No live bugs. So I had a structural test done. Repairs had already been done replacing some partial floor joist and a partial wall in an unattached garage. Questions is would you buy it?Im on the fence. It does come with a year warranty on termites from the company that treated them.
Get a Termite bond from a reputable company with annual inspections. Any active termite damage will be on their dime going forward.
