That tractor ended up coming here around Christmas of 2012, I did some work on it that winter to keep it in running condition, drove it around some that spring and parked it outside the shop, then time proceeded to fly by. Ten years later now we are farming twice as many acres, I have twice as many kids, and a small fraction of the free time that I thought was in short supply back then. When one of my wife’s cousins called to ask if I wanted to sell the Big Bud, I had to face the reality of it’s chances of getting fixed up by me anytime soon. So right now it’s on a truck heading almost back to where it started, in northern Montana.
