Subject: RE: Cover crop after soybeans?

West Central Indiana
My plan is to use this mix after my 2.5 soys come off. Hopefully by early to mid September.
4#-crimson clover
2#-viper balansa
1#-yellow sweet
10#-oats
10#-cereal rye
.5#-rape

I’m blending this mix with fertilizer, spinning on,and just barely scratching it in with a Great Plains ultra-till. Worked well last year, except the low, wet parts of the field didn’t have much of any clover. I’m adding a little oats and rye, just in case the clover doesn’t survive in places.
