What cover crops are better at being broadcast seeded? No drilling here.

Prodominant seed will be rye grass. Have had pretty good luck with hairy vetch. We do OK with radish & turnip, but don't think we're really getting the root benefit. Thinking of trying rape this year.

There's plenty of volunteer white dutch clover here already.

What about wheat, oats, or even buckwheat?

This would be for grazing. Cow has to be able to eat it. Going to be planted October/November.
