Subject: manure vs fert question

Howdy guys. Been trying to haul manure for some neighbors and friends in the winter time out of these big feedlots here. It has Been an okay pass time in winter for me the past couple of years. Good dry, granulated, stockpiled stuff. It’s always free as long as you come get it. One guy I haul for is 30 miles out that takes quite a few loads. On dryland corn ground “maybe” making 40 bushel corn at what point is it cheaper to put conventional fertilizer down vs manure? I’m a rancher and don’t farm so I have no idea. This year I’d have to charge around 10ish dollars a ton to haul it out there. He hires someone to spread it.
