My opinion is you are 3rd generation on that farm land only because that is where you descended from....Grandpa, Dad then You. But you are also a 4th generation farmer within your family, but if your great great grandfather was a farmer also, then you are a 5th generation and so on, which I'm guessing he was from the old country, such as a lot of everybody's ancestors were from. So that land over there, I wouldn't consider a part of my own.
The year established, I consider it the year your grandpa started that farm you are on.
I'm not sure there is a truely correct answer....it has a technicality.
I would be more proud for the fact that you are a generation that is continuing the farming tradition.
