Mazon, IL | Since I have more tomatoes and cucumbers than I can use thought I would try drying some. I have already dried half of a 5 gallon bucket of Roma tomatoes. Dehydrator is currently filled with 1/4” thick cucumber slices. Have also already dried 8 large bell peppers.
Was thinking of grinding this into a powder and make a vegetable rub that could be used on smoked cream cheese.
Anyone else ever do anything like this? I’m flying by the seat of my pants on this one. | |
