I remember when eggs were demonized. Yet our body makes the majority of our cholesterol internally (probably because it is so important for life) and dietary intake is only a small portion of the total. As I recall something around 30% but it varies by individual. If we don't eat enough our body makes more. Small dense LDL can be a problem and it is caused by oxidation with oxidation being caused by excess sugar levels in our blood. So it is not the foods containing cholesterol that are the problem, but instead elevated blood sugar levels caused by metabolic syndrome with excess levels of insulin and insulin resistance.
