Subject: RE: What grain cart

Jeffersonville, OH
Look at dealers in your area for parts availability. We have been a KillBros dealer for 40 years, and have sold Demco carts for about 10 now. Both are very good carts, well made, with few issues.

Honestly, not much to go wrong on most grain carts anyway, but having parts available close to grab a bearing or sprocket when one wears out is helpful.

As far as what to look for, auger condition, and condition of the floor and auger tubes. About the only way to kill a cart is to wear out the metal...some things are rebuildable/replaceable, others you have to get creative.

Carts, like most things, are in much shorter supply than most years. We have one used cart on the lot right now, a normal year going into harvest we would have 10-20 carts ready for fall.
