They always told me to soak it in cider.
If it was mine I would do the heated paper clip or drill. Make sure you are not where the nail forms. If it has been a while it may already be clotted. If so it won't drain.
Soak in salt water also helps.
Since it was two days ago, doc thought may be already clotted and would not drain. Didn't want to make it worse pain wise with no results. Also said hand ortho doc can probably keep nail from being deformed for the rest of my life. Not that it matters since I have a few others that are messed up. |
