Years ago I had a Dr. do what was described. He unfolded a paper clip, poured some alcohol into an ash tray, lit the alcohol, used the fire to heat the paper clip and then melted his way through the nail. I asked what is going to happen when the hot paper clip hits my finger. He said that the blood would cool it before it burns my finger. He was correct. The blood spurted up about a foot and I got instant relief.
Will this finger get better without treatment?
