If all else fails start calling local contractors. If you are lucky you will find one that will come help.
If that doesn't work call a local rental place. For a couple hundred they may deliver a skid loader and pic it up later.
We had a customer we needed a forklift for and did that several times. Actually I think we paid $250 but still cheap enough.
