Pittsburg, Kansas | When I had a shot in one knee I can't say one way or another. It got a little better but rest also may have been the benefit.
What helped my knee most was changing diets and eliminating foods that caused me inflammation. In a few weeks once the source of the inflammation was gone, presumably both knees healed themselves and have not been a problem since. Three years. Oh, back pain from ancient injury and 3 back operations went away too.
That is just my experience. May not help others
