I ran mine through a couple wash cycles empty. (No detergent)
Poured probably 5 gal or more of the hottest water I could get through the detergent dispenser after it started. It will only put a gallon or two in itself without clothes. Unbelievable how dirty and soapy the water was.
How is this happening? Wash machine.
